Minutes from General Membership Meeting

September 22, 2006

Next Association Meeting is October 20, 2006

0700 Stacie Talbot called the meeting to order.

      In attendance were the following officers:

            President, Stacie Talbot

            Treasurer, Juan Romero

      In attendance were the following members:

            Daniel Pierce

            Doug Byrd

No minutes from the August meeting were available.

Treasurer’s Report:

As of 9/21/06, the balance in the Credit Union account is $14913.02.

All bills have been paid up to date. All bills/payments are current.

Dan Pierce made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report.

      Doug Byrd seconded.

      The motion passed with a unanimous vote.

OLD BUSINESS

Banquet tickets are now on sale. The cost, per person, is $55 if purchased in September, $60 if purchased in October and $65 up until the night of the banquet.

Voting continues on the proposed amendments to the by-laws and constitution. An overwhelming majority is in favor of the changes but we still need about 75 votes in order for them to pass.

Dues will be increasing to $10 per pay period.

NEW BUSINESS

A decision on the FSA members’ children’s holiday parties was tabled for further discussion.

Doug Byrd, Dan Pierce and Tyler Corey will be the nominating committee. If you would like to run for FSA officer for 2007 or if you would like to nominate someone for any of the offices, please contact one of them before October 20.
